Monoliths
(Cast glass)

The Monolith Series is based on patterns and forms found in the city.

The pieces aim to draw comparison with man-made structures through the ages: our need as humans to put our mark on the world.

One of the main themes of my sculptural work is the margins between the urban and natural environments. And nature can be seen creeping into the Monoliths - trying to reclaim lost habitats.

Each of the pieces is made in three parts - these can be sealed together, or left separate to allow the owner to make their own choice of composition.
